| DLTK's Printable Crafts For Kids | DLTK's crafts for kids (US) features a variety of fun, printable children's crafts, colouring and projects. There are also Bible projects and crafts (good for children's groups at church). A colour printer is an advantage with the card-making, but your child can always colour in monochrome cards. This site will save you lots of money as you need never buy a card again, and children love customising their own greetings. Excellent for party invitations and thank you notes as well!

You will find everything from jokes, quizzes, games, printable books, foreign languages and information for school projects. A great site for a rainy day. It links into a subscriber site, but there is plenty to use without subscribing.

| National Literacy Trust | If you haven't seen this site for parents & teachers you have missed out! The Literacy Trust is an independent charity set up to improve literacy in the UK through a range of exciting initiatives such as the 'Kick into Reading' scheme involving Brentford FC. There is a brilliant A-Z index, where you can find detailed information on subjects ranging from 'Able and Gifted Children', 'Autism', 'Dads and Literacy', 'Family Literacy', 'How to Write Clearly', 'Spelling' & so on. There are also good links to other educational web-sites. Set aside a whole evening for this site!

| The British Museum | This is a great site allowing children to browse objects and resources from the museum including ancient civilisations such as Egypt. A child friendly site, encouraging on-line learning, with games to make the process more fun.
